TRIBUTES were paid last night to a man who was taken ill at the wheel of his vehicle.

The blue Vauxhall Frontera crashed into an earth bank on Lon Coed y Fron, Mynytho, on Tuesday afternoon.

Despite medical attention by paramedics sadly John Glyn Jones, 69, had died.

His son John last night said the family were shocked by his father's sudden death.
