BIRDERS across the country are closely watching a favourite place near home this year. In the (friendly) PatchWork league, points are earned for birds seen, with a bonus for birds found yourself.
After the first quarter, four of the top five patches in the Welsh league are in the north, with Ben Porter leading the way on Bardsey.
